Landscape Lighting

Landscape lighting can create a statement at night if installed/positioned in the correct place. For the best results, use a combination of different light fixtures.

The goal of landscape lighting is to highlight your features and add drama to areas that might not stand out during the day while adding functional lighting to stairs or pathways, allowing you to move around without the risk of injury.

Outdoor spotlights are commonly used to illuminate plants, trees and sculptures. When spotlights are positioned at the base with the light angled upwards, it will illuminate both the base and the top of the plant or sculpture to create a highlighting effect.

Creating a silhouette effect in your garden by placing the spotlight behind an object (like a tree) and directing the light towards the home - creating drama by only allowing the outlined form to be seen. Shadowing is also used in the garden by placing the spotlight in the front of the plant or sculpture, angling the light towards a tall wall, creating dramatic shadows transforming a small plant into a large dramatic shadow
